Mel Ramos: American Pop in Venice

Presented by V Contemporary in collaboration with the Estate of Mel Ramos, this major exhibition brings together works spanning the artist’s entire career.

Widely regarded as one of the defining figures of American Pop Art, Ramos transformed imagery from advertising, comic books, and popular culture into a bold and unmistakable visual language. From his celebrated Commercial Pin-Ups to his iconic superhero paintings, his work blurred the boundaries between fine art and mass media.

Set within Palazzo Bragadin Carabba during the 2026 Venice Biennale, the exhibition offers a rare opportunity to experience the full scope of Ramos’s artistic legacy in Venice.
